Back the Bases Tour Launches at Camp Pendleton with Star Power, Service & Celebration

The Back the Bases 10-Base Tour officially kicked off at sunny Camp Pendleton. Hosted by radio legend Randy Miller, the event brought together Marines and an all-star lineup of special guests for a day packed with entertainment and connection.
Joining Randy on stage were:
Celebrity chef Robert Irvine
Nashville country artist Tate Stevens
Brigadier General Nick I. Brown
From the first welcome to the final encore, the atmosphere was electric.
Brigadier General Brown addressed the crowd with heartfelt remarks, underscoring the importance of morale, unity, and the community partnerships that make events like this possible.
Tate Stevens performed his brand-new single, “Lucky For Me,” live for the very first time.

The friendly competition had them laughing and eager to jump on stage. Prizes were handed out, bragging rights were claimed, and camaraderie filled the room.
No celebration is complete without great food — and Camp Pendleton delivered.
Guests enjoyed incredible Filipino cuisine provided by Joselle, alongside support from Robert Irvine Foundation. The meal brought a little something extra to the day,
The entire event was recorded and released on the National Defense Network, allowing audiences across the country to experience the kickoff and celebrate alongside the troops.
